KCL Laboratory is well equipped to support pilot trials and serve all customer requirements for testing quality control. We are able to guarantee the fastest and most efficient methods to acquire accurate testing results. Samples for measurements can be cut from trial reels or mill reels.
KCL Laboratory is a testing laboratory that is T295 accredited by the Finnish Accreditation Service, FINAS (SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025). The accreditation covers testing of the key strength and structural properties of paper. The scope of accreditation can be found here.
Refining & testing of pulp
We simulate mill refining in laboratory scale. We offer quality control and benchmarking of pulp, refining of different pulps and testing of trial pulp samples.
Board & papermaking
Our laboratory-scale testing platform is ideal for testing fillers, fibers or new papermaking raw-materials and moreover, we have the expertise and knowledge in manufacturing sheets from different fiber fractions.
Testing of paper, board & packaging
We offer you a wide competence base for testing paper, board and packaging materials in accordance with ISO, TAPPI and SCAN methods.
Chemical analysis
