Semi-pilot scale coating

The results of laboratory trials can be further evaluated on a smaller pilot scale using sample volumes of approximately 10-50 litres. At this scale, KCL offers options such as flexographic application using banded anilox rollers. This technique allows four different coating colours to be applied simultaneously in a single pass. In addition, there are options using roller application and rod metering, or gravure and reverse gravure application and blade metering as alternative coating application methods.
